IrisVision: Wearable breakthrough that allows people with low vision to see clearly again
Wearable device uses AR and smartphone technology to transform the lives of those with vision loss. Developed with support from the world’s leading medical professionals, institutione and universities, IrisVison glasses are a medically validated solution for people with conditions such as macular degeneration, glaucoma and diabetic retinopathy.
Having participated in Larta’s NIH CAP program, IrisVison is achieving market traction both through vision care professionals and direct sales to the consumer.
Bivacor: An artificial heart designed to take over the complete function of a patient’s failing heart
An implant which completely replaces the native heart, for patients with end-stage heart failure who need support while on a transplant waiting list or who don’t qualify for a transplant. Magnetic levitation provides precise, stable operation with no mechanical wear. Has a single moving part with two centrifugal impellers.
Collaboration with NASA will further support medical industry assessments and provide insights on safety and reliability.
